A couple was out when the wife suddenly cried out, “Goodness me! I forgot to turn off the stove. The gas must be still burning. What shall we do if a fire breaks out?” The husband thought about it for a while, then consoled her with complacency, “Don't worry. I, too, forgot to turn off the faucet.
